Comprehensive product range for sintering and firing by SCHUPP® Ceramics.

When sintering and firing, fine-grained ceramic or metal materials are compressed at the threshold to their melting points to form a stable structure.

SCHUPP® Ceramics offers a comprehensive portfolio for optimised results in these demanding processes: from heating elements to customised insulation cuttings and complete furnace linings. We also supply process temperature control rings PTCR that ensure compliance with the highest quality claims in sintering and firing. Everything from a single source!

Solutions for application industries and process engineering:

Dental technology (zirconia)

For production of fully ceramic restorations based on zirconia (ZrO2), a sintering furnace reaches temperatures of up to 1600°C. MolyCom-Hyper-heating elements are made with the purest raw materials and therefore do not permit any discolouration of the zirconia ceramics.

Technical ceramics

Several work steps are necessary to produce technical ceramics: Sintering in an industry or laboratory furnace gives the ceramic part its specific material properties. Temperatures of 1200°C to 2200°C are needed for this.

Sanitary ware and structural ceramics

Sanitary ware and structural ceramics are fired in periodic or continuous furnaces at temperatures of up to 1300°C. The challenge is in keeping the firing profile in the entire furnace homogeneous in order to achieve a homogeneous structure.
